FOOTBALL TRANSFER GOSSIP:

  • Allan Saint-Maximin‘s long-term future at Newcastle remains in some doubt with the club unable to offer him any guarantees in terms of increased playing time.

 

  • Juventus are considering the possibility of selling or even terminating the contract of 29-year-old former Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
  • Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag reportedly called goalkeeper Dean Henderson in a bid to try and cut his loan spell with Nottingham Forest short.
  • Gabriel Martinelli, 21, has signed a new contract with Arsenal that keeps him at the club until the summer of 2027.

 

  • France striker Olivier Giroud, 36, is expected to extend his contract at AC Milan by an additional year until 2024.
