FOOTBALL TRANSFER GOSSIP:

  • Folarin Balogun has fuelled speculation he could leave Arsenal by revealing he would be open to returning to Stade Reims.

 

  • Everton’s alleged breach of Premier League profit and sustainability rules is likely to centre on the costs related to their new £500m stadium and the impact of Covid-19.

 

  • Arsenal will prioritise another attempt to sign Brighton and Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo, 21, in the summer.
  • Aston Villa, Newcastle and Brighton are interested in signing England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 29, whose contract at Liverpool expires at the end of the season.
