The deal is worth £33.2m, and Mastantuono will join Los Blancos after River Plate’s Club World Cup campaign.

Real Madrid’s swift action secured the deal, beating out competition from top clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United.

Club World Cup Commitment

Mastantuono will remain with River Plate for their Club World Cup campaign before joining Real Madrid in August.

This means he won’t represent Los Blancos in the tournament, potentially facing them in the quarter-finals if River Plate progress.
