FOOTBALL TRANSFER GOSSIP:

  • Real Madrid have set their sights on Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot now they feel his contract is getting down to a point where there might be doubt over him extending.
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not be part of Chelsea’s squad against Southampton despite Graham Potter‘s earlier insistence that he was still an “important player”.

 

  • Newcastle United are preparing to offer English defender Dan Burn, 30, a new contract.
  • Everton manager Sean Dyche plans to look into English striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin‘s entire lifestyle, including the mattress he sleeps on, as he attempts to overcome the 25-year-old’s fitness issues.
  • Manchester City have renewed their interest in West Ham‘s 24-year-old England midfielder Declan Rice.
