Tottenham Appoint Gretar Steinsson As New Performance Director

Tottenham have appointed Gretar Steinsson as the club’s new performance director.

The 40-year-old joins manager director Fabio Paratici’s new recruitment team, which also includes Andy Scoulding as assistant performance director.

Paratici last season evaluated the recruitment setup, and saw both technical performance director Steve Hitchen and head of recruitment Brian Carey leave after years of service.

Steinsson joins from the Icelandic Football Association, where he had been working as technical advisor.
