Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly “very close” to appointing Fulham boss Marco Silva as their new manager, according to reports in Portugal.
The deal is said to be “almost done,” with Silva set to replace Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked on Friday after a disastrous Premier League campaign.
Silva’s Credentials
Silva, who has a year left on his Fulham contract, has impressed with his team’s performances, achieving their highest-ever Premier League points total with 54 points from 38 fixtures.

A Surprise Choice?
While Thomas Frank was initially favored to succeed Postecoglou, Silva’s appointment would be a surprise twist.
Some might view it as an underwhelming choice, given Silva’s largely modest managerial achievements.
However, his experience in Champions League management and aggressive yet methodical approach could bring a fresh perspective to Spurs.
