'We Are Open To Negotiations' Shaktar Donetsk On Mykhaylo Mudryk To Arsenal

Shakhtar Donetsk CEO Serhiy Palkin has confirmed the club are still in firm talks with Arsenal over the transfer of Mykhaylo Mudryk.

Mudryk has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium after impressing for Shakhtar so far this season, scoring 10 goals and eight assist in 18 appearances.

A £55m offer has already been rejected, with Shakhtar publicly saying they were looking for the kind of money that took Jack Grealish to Manchester City in 2021 in order to sell.

Mudryk himself hinted he would be open to a move to the Emirates Stadium by watching the Gunners in action against West Ham.

In comments published on Shakhtar’s official website, Palkin said:

“Negotiations are continuing. We receive offers, but they are not the ones we would like to see on our table.

“Now, literally in 5 minutes, I will have a phone conversation with Arsenal.

We are open to negotiations, ready to exchange ideas and figures. If we will agree, then let it be so.

“If we will not, then let it be another time.”

Joao Felix is another to have been linked with a move to the Premier League and Standard Sport understands Atletico Madrid would be open to his exit.
