The boxing world is mourning the loss of heavyweight legend George Foreman, who passed away peacefully at the age of 76, surrounded by his family.
Foreman’s family confirmed the news on his Instagram account, describing him as a “devout preacher, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grand and great grandfather.”
A Legacy of Greatness
Foreman’s impressive boxing career spanned over two decades, with a record of 76 wins and five defeats from 81 bouts.
He won 68 of his contests by knockout, becoming one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time.

Foreman’s achievements in the ring were matched by his success outside of it, with the best-selling George Foreman Grill selling millions worldwide.
