Dusan Vlahovic scored his first Serie A goal in 115 days as Juventus ease pass Salernitana by 3-0.

The match began with Salernitana playing on the front foot and taking the game to Juventus.

They controlled play well but failed to make an impact in the final third.

breakthrough came when Fabio Miretti got in front of his former Juventus NextGen teammate Hans Nicolussi Caviglia and the Salernitana man caught the back of his ankle for a penalty.

Vlahovic stepped up and converted off the inside of the near post.

Vlahovic seemed to rediscover his confidence and turned a half-volley over after Di Maria’s ball floated over the top,

then skipped away from a defender to drill across the face of goal.

Adrien Rabiot had to make a crucial interception to stop Boulaye Dia getting on the end of a cross at the back post, but Miretti was stretchered off in agony after spraining his left ankle.

Juve doubled their lead when Junior Sambia’s poor clearance was straight at Vlahovic, the volley was scuffed, but bounced into the path of Filip Kostic to score from six yards.

It should’ve been 3-0 on the stroke of half-time, but Ochoa rushed off his line to close down Manuel Locatelli’s flick from point-blank range.

Salernitana had a huge opportunity to get back into it, as Sambia flashed a ball across the six-yard box that was inches past Dia at the back post.

However, Di Maria came even closer with a scorcher that rattled the crossbar from the edge of the box on Vlahovic’s lay-off.

Federico Bonazzoli turned a half-volley wide from the edge of the box, as did Dylan Bronn, while Vlahovic was furious with Federico Chiesa for firing over rather than returning the pass.

Moise Kean thought he’d got the fourth off the bench from a Chiesa assist, but the low drive thumped the base of the upright from 14 yards.

Napoli powered to a ten-point lead in the Serie A title race as they dished out a 5-1 battering of Juventus, who suffered their heaviest league defeat for 30-years.

The hosts had Massimiliano Allegri’s side on the ropes throughout, and would have won by an even greater margin, were it not for some good goalkeeping and, at times, poor finishing.

Victor Osimhen scored twice with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Amir Rrahmani and Elif Elmas also on target.

Angel di Maria responded for Juventus, who slip to third as a result.

Osimhen opened the scoring for Napoli and then provided the pass for Kvaratskhelia to double their lead, but Di Maria hit back before the break.

Rrahmani restored the hosts’ two-goal advantage 10 minutes after half-time and from there Luciano Spalletti’s side were rampant.

Georgian star Kvaratskhelia picked out Osimhen with a superb cross and the Nigeria striker headed in his 12th Serie A goal of this season.

“That’ll take a few more days. Granit is already here, and is training and willing to participate on the weekend, so we don’t have that many away now so that is a positive thing.”

Gabriel Jesus (knee) and Emile Smith Rowe (groin) remain absent.

Juventus moved into Serie A’s top three for the first time since the opening day of the season after easing to a sixth league win in a row by beating toothless Lazio 3-0.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side, who have not conceded in any of those victories,

were comfortable throughout, with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny largely a passenger as they jumped above the visitors in the table.

The hosts started brightly, with Moise Kean, full of confidence after scoring three goals in his last four games, making an early burst into the

box before dragging a low shot just wide of the far post, while Nicolo Fagioli saw his effort from 20-yards well saved.

Those early chances hinted at an exciting first half, but other than a flurry of yellow cards,

three of them in three minutes, little happened until just before the break, when Kean broke onto a delightful ball over the top by

Adrien Rabiot and expertly lobbed Ivan Provedel, who came off his line to intercept the pass but got nowhere near it.

The striker doubled his tally for the evening shortly after half-time, although he could hardly

miss from just yards out, tapping into an empty net after the goalkeeper had palmed Filip Kostic’s fierce shot straight into his path.

That put the game to bed, and there was plenty of time for Juventus to grab a third, which they duly did when Arkadiusz Milik tapped home

from Federico Chiesa’s perfect cross with just moments left.

At the other end, Szczesny was finally tested by Felipe Anderson in injury time, but Lazio put in a worryingly flat performance, a far cry from a run of form that had seen them win seven of their previous nine matches.

Hellas Verona vs Juventus 0-1 Highlights Download: Italian Serie A – November 10th, 2022.

Moise kean strikes gave Juventus an opportunity to climb to third in Serie A with a 1-0 win at struggling Verona.

Verona had a penalty chalked off by VAR, and Juventus substitute Alex Sandro was sent off in an action-packed second half.

The opening 45 minutes offered little action, with both sides struggling to find a way through well-drilled defences.

Juventus controlled the majority of the half but failed to create anything offensively, while Verona enjoyed the best half-chances of the half.

Verona captain Pawel Dawidowicz had a great chance to put the hosts ahead early on in the second half but squandered his chance when he latched onto a cross at the back post unmarked.

Juventus made the breakthrough on the hour mark when Kean’s slotted effort took a cruel deflection off of Dawidowicz’s leg and over goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipo.

Verona wanted a penalty when Miguel Veloso’s fired the ball into the box struck the arm of Danilo after it had deflected off of Dawidowicz,

but it was waved away by the referee after a short VAR check.

VAR was involved once more when Verona were awarded a penalty.

Leonardo Bonucci’s high foot caught Simone Verdi as the striker looked to pull the trigger,

but after a quick VAR check, it was chalked off as the defender managed to get a touch on the ball first.

Juventus substitute Sandro was sent off for a last-man challenge on Kevin Lasagna as the forward ran through on goal with minutes to go.

Juventus secured a huge win in the Derby D’Italia, beating rivals Inter Milan 2-0.

There was little to separate the two sides in an opening 45 minutes of few chances.

Edin Dzeko and Denzel Dumfries had the best opportunities to score but both failed to test Wojciech Szczesny.

But soon after the break Juve went ahead – they broke at speed via Filip Kostic and he set up Adrien Rabiot with the Frenchman finishing brilliantly as he burst into the box.

Max Allegri’s side thought they had doubled their lead when Danilo volleyed in from a corner but it was disallowed for handball after a lengthy VAR check.

But eventually they did get a second when Kostic set up Nicolo Fagioli and the youngster netted on his first-ever Serie A start.

The win takes Juventus up to fifth in the league above Inter and Roma – they are now two points off the top four.

Paris Saint-Germain rounded off their group stage campaign in the Champions League with a 2-1 win over Juventus – but it was only enough for them to qualify second in the group.

Before the match, Les Parisiens knew they had to match or better Benfica’s result against Maccabi Haifa to go to the top of Group H despite already securing qualification for the round of 16, but the Portuguese side routed Haifa to steal the group at the death. As for the Old Lady, who had already bowed out of the Champions League, they knew a place in the Europa League knockout round play-off would be secured if they matched or bettered the Israeli side.

Juventus started off with intent, but it was PSG who took an early lead in the 12th minute. Kylian Mbappe rode out a couple of challenges to hit a low, powerful strike from outside the area past Wojciech Szczesny and into the net, with the help of the woodwork. The Bianconeri had their equaliser shortly before half-time, as Leonardo Bonucci turned in Juan Cuadrado’s diving header across the six-yard box to score his first Champions League goal in six years. However, PSG found their winner with 20 minutes of time remaining. Nuno Mendes, who had been on the pitch for a matter of seconds, latched onto Mbappe’s through-ball, before finishing low into the far corner. Juventus thought they had equalised nine minutes later, but Manuel Locatelli’s tap-in on the rebound was ruled out for offside. With news filtering through of the need to score again, PSG boss Christophe Galtier urged his men forward, but the goal they needed didn’t arrive.

Lecce 0-1 Juventus Highlights (Video)

Lecce vs Juventus 0-1 Download Video Highlights: Italian Serie A – October 29th, 2022.

Juventus claimed three point against Lecce, as Nicolò Fagioli scored a magnificent.

Fabio Miretti was booked early for a high tackle on Oudin, while Juan Cuadrado’s angled drive flashed across the face of goal.

It was certainly an aggressive, physical match, with four Juventus players booked in the opening half-hour.

Adrien Rabiot had the first shot on target on 32 minutes, straight at Wladimiro Falcone from distance, while Miretti’s attempt was deflected wide.

Just before half-time, Rabiot’s header from a corner was beaten off the line by Falcone,

while the goalkeeper smothered at the feet of Juan Cuadrado on the line after a Milik back-heel flick, but it was offside anyway.

Milik’s low drive was parried from the edge of the area and substitute Moise Kean’s header into the ground went wide.

The deadlock was broken within a minute of Samuel Iling Junior coming off the bench and it was his assist,

although Fagioli did all the work with a truly magnificent right-foot curler into the far top corner from just inside the box.

It was unstoppable for Falcone and the 21-year-old burst into tears at this debut Serie A goal, a finish that Alessandro Del Piero would’ve been proud of.

Lecce were unlucky not to score an equaliser in the final minute, Morten Hjulmand’s low drive bouncing off the base of the far post.

They were also furious at not being allowed to take a final corner after the five minutes of stoppages were up.

Juventus vs Empoli 4-0 Highlights Download: Italian Serie A – October 21st, 2022.

Juventus closed the gap on the Serie A top six with a thumping 4-0 win over Empoli at the Allianz Stadium.

Goals from Moise Kean and Weston McKennie on eight and 56 minutes gave the hosts a healthy lead,

and Adrien Rabiot added two as four proved the difference in an otherwise drab affair that lacked any real clear-cut chances.

Up to seventh, the Old Lady secured two successive victories for the first time this term as Empoli, labelled a tricky test in the build-up, struggled to trouble the hosts.

Juve started quickly as Kean prodded home a Filip Kostic cross at the near post to give Massimiliano Allegri’s side an early lead, but the Bianconeri sat back, inviting the pressure.

Empoli struggled to find their potency in the final third: final passes were going astray, and neither Mattia Destro nor Martin Satriano could find their shooting boots.

Destro tested home goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a drilled effort on 33 minutes, but the Pole was equal to it.

Two minutes later, McKennie was denied by a flying save from Guglielmo Vicario in a rare Juve venture forward as the game slowed before the break.

With the second half 11 minutes old, McKennie powered home a Cuadrado outswinger to double the advantage, as Empoli were punished for their profligacy.

Torino vs Juventus 0-1 Highlights Download: Italian Serie A – October 15th, 2022.

Dusan Vlahovic’s strikes earned Juventus victory at city rivals Torino to ease the pressure on manager Massimiliano Allegri.

The 22-year-old Serbia striker tapped home a Danilo knock-down from Juan Cuadrado’s 74th-minute corner to seal victory in a one-sided Turin derby.

Just a fourth league win this season lifted Juventus to seventh in Serie A.

It followed a Champions League defeat by Maccabi Haifa that left them unlikely to reach the knockout stages.

Vlahovic’s close-range finish was all that Juventus deserved after Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic produced a string of fine saves to keep the score level.

Despite the derby win, Allegri, who led Juventus to five consecutive Serie A titles from 2015 to 2019 in his first stint as manager,

will continue to face questions after a run of poor results since returning in 2021.

They finished fourth last season and went into the Torino game 10 points behind current leaders Napoli.
