Liverpool have reportedly added Feyenoord’s Anis Hadj Moussa to their shortlist of potential replacements for Mohamed Salah, whose future at the club remains uncertain.
Salah, who is now free to discuss terms with foreign clubs, recently reaffirmed his stance that this season will be his last at Liverpool unless a new deal is agreed.
Moussa’s Rise to Prominence at Feyenoord
Moussa, a 22-year-old Algerian attacker, has made a significant impact at Feyenoord since joining from Patro Eisden in the summer.

Feyenoord paid just £2.9m for his services, and Moussa has since contributed six goals and two assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.
His impressive form has caught the attention of Liverpool, with Arne Slot, who approved Moussa’s move to Feyenoord, now keeping a close eye on his performances.
Liverpool’s Contract Negotiations with Key Players
As Liverpool pursue potential replacements for Salah, the club is also working to tie down other key players to new deals.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are both in negotiations, although there is reportedly more uncertainty surrounding Alexander-Arnold’s renewal.
Van Dijk recently stated that there was no update on his contract situation, despite claims that a fresh deal had been agreed.
Feyenoord’s Valuation of Moussa
Feyenoord still have Moussa under contract until 2028, and the club can expect to demand a significant profit on the £2.9m they paid for his services.
Liverpool will need to weigh up the costs and benefits of pursuing Moussa, who has established himself as Feyenoord’s first-choice right-winger.
