Manchester United Target Randal Kolo Muani as Ruben Amorim Seeks Attacking Reinforcements

Rubben Amorim

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is keen to bolster his attacking options in January, with Paris Saint-Germain attacker Randal Kolo Muani emerging as a top target.

The 26-year-old French international has struggled to make an impact at PSG this season, scoring just two goals and providing one assist in 14 appearances.

Kolo Muani’s Attractiveness to Manchester United

Amorim believes Kolo Muani’s ability to time runs in behind defences would be a valuable asset to Manchester United’s attack.

The PSG attacker’s pace, strength, and versatility also make him an attractive prospect for the Red Devils.

With Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee potentially leaving the club this month, Kolo Muani could provide a much-needed boost to Manchester United’s attacking options.

Competition for Kolo Muani’s Signature

However, Manchester United face stiff competition for Kolo Muani’s signature, with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Juventus, and Aston Villa also interested in the Frenchman.

PSG are open to letting Kolo Muani leave on loan, but any potential suitor must include an obligation to buy in the deal.

Manchester United’s Transfer Plans

While Kolo Muani is a target for Manchester United, the club’s primary focus is on signing Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres.

However, with Amorim’s admiration for Kolo Muani well-documented, a January move to Old Trafford cannot be ruled out. Manchester United’s pursuit of Kolo Muani will be closely monitored in the coming weeks as the transfer window heats up.
