Real Madrid Star Kylian Mbappe Completes Shock Takeover Of Caen

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has made his second significant move of the summer, but this time off the pitch.

Mbappe’s investment firm, Interconnected Ventures, has acquired a majority stake in French second-division club Caen through its investment entity Coalition Capital.

The takeover sees Interconnected Ventures purchase the majority shares from previous owners Oaktree Capital Management,

with PAC Invest, the investment company founded by Pierre-Antoine Capton, retaining a minority stake in the Ligue 2 club.

Mbappe was reportedly tracked by Caen for numerous years, but their relegation from Ligue 1 in 2012 ended the club’s chances of being able to secure his signature on schoolboy terms and he subsequently joined Monaco.
