It looks like a knock, but I haven’t really seen it. Hopefully, nothing too bad.” The Australian coach’s comments will come as a relief to Spurs fans, who have seen Solanke struggle with injuries this season.

Tottenham’s Disappointing Performance in the Netherlands

Despite dominating possession, Tottenham failed to create clear-cut chances against AZ Alkmaar, with Postecoglou attributing the defeat to a lack of aggression.

“I don’t think it’s a matter of effort or attitude… but we didn’t really come to grips and have the right mindset to tackle an away fixture in Europe,” he said.

Suspension Blow for Tottenham Ahead of Second Leg

Tottenham’s task in the second leg has been made more challenging with the suspension of Rodrigo Bentancur, who picked up his third Europa League yellow card of the season. Pape Sarr or Yves Bissouma are likely to deputize for the banned Uruguayan in the return fixture.
