He weaves away from a couple of defenders and has a shot blocked.
The ball bounces up for Kane who hooks one towards goal and lifts the effort just over the crossbar!

Foden twists, weaves and rolls the ball onto his right foot before beating the goalkeeper and seeing his effort cleared off the line!
Foden gets the ball into the box on left by Mainoo as he dribbles into the box and tries to finish into the goal, beats the keeper but Dumfires makes a clutch goalline save!
Foden takes another shot from distance but lacked the power, too low and easy for the keeper.
Netherlands’ Memphis Depay went down in the 35th minute with an injury and was replaced by Joey Veerman for the rest of the match.
Foden is hungry tonight. He’s playing superbly with Mainoo and receives the ball just outside the box before shooting and forcing a low shot out of Bart Verbruggen.
It has been a slow start to the second half.
England is passing it around in the midfield while Netherlands no longer has its blistering pace after Malen and Depay’s departure.
England work the ball nicely out to Shaw on the left who puts a cross into the box that Dumfries knocks out for a throw in.
England have picked up where they left off but they’re still getting used to this switch in formation.
Netherlands manage to turn over the ball and feed it over to Simons on the right. He dribbles to the edge of the box but can’t find a way around Kobbie Mainoo.
Netherlands just can’t get out at the minute.
England aren’t really piling much pressure on their penalty area but they are pegging the Dutch in their own half and have the awareness to cut out any developing counter-attacks.

Eventually Veerman plays a cross on the far post for Weghorst but puts too much power into it.
A free-kick from the right for Netherlands as the cross goes into the box for Van Dijk but his shot is saved well by Pickford!!!
