The transfer saga surrounding Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has taken a new turn, with AC Milan and Juventus emerging as potential suitors.
Rashford’s brother and agent, who also represents the player’s interests, reportedly met with officials from both Italian giants on Wednesday.
Rashford’s Departure from Manchester United Looms
Rashford’s future at Manchester United has been the subject of intense speculation, with the player having not featured in the Premier League since early December.
The Red Devils are believed to be looking to sell Rashford for £40m this month, but his substantial wages, reportedly in the region of £315,000 a week, make an exit complicated.
AC Milan and Juventus Lead the Chase
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Rashford’s representatives are planning to meet with more clubs in the coming days.

However, AC Milan and Juventus are currently leading the chase for the Manchester United forward.
Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be in the running, with a loan move to the German club thought to be a possibility.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Loan Bid Unlikely to Succeed
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen to sign Rashford on loan for the second half of the season.
However, it is unlikely that Manchester United would allow him to join another Premier League club.
Unless there are no other offers on the table, a switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is unlikely.
Rashford’s Desire to Stay in a Major European League
Rashford is determined to stay in a major European league, having already rejected lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
A loan switch to Italy looks the most likely outcome, but much will depend on personal terms.
Manchester United are reportedly looking for interested parties to cover the majority of Rashford’s wages, which could prove a stumbling block for even the biggest clubs in Serie A.
