Aston Villa are reportedly open to selling midfielder Enzo Barrenechea in the summer transfer window, despite never having represented the club in a competitive match.
The 23-year-old Argentine joined Villa in July as part of the deal that took Douglas Luiz to Juventus, but was swiftly loaned out to Valencia just two months later.
Barrenechea’s Impressive Spell in Spain
Barrenechea has made a significant impact in La Liga, starting 18 matches and making three substitute appearances for Valencia.
He has contributed one goal and two assists, playing a key role in the team’s recent resurgence under new head coach Carlos Corberan.

Valencia’s improved form has seen them move just outside the relegation zone, and they are keen to sign Barrenechea permanently if they maintain their top-flight status.
