Arsenal and Brighton drew 1-1 in the first match of three days of the English Premier League. Kai Havertz put the Gunners ahead in the first half at the Emirates Stadium in London, UK, but Joao Pedro equalized for the visitors in the second half.
The home side were reduced to 10 men when Declan Rice received a second yellow card early in the second half. The striker will therefore miss the London clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
