Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has been handed a significant double fitness boost as Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke returned to training on Friday.
The duo’s timely comeback is a welcome relief for the Blues, who are gearing up to face London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
Palmer’s Return to Training
Palmer, who had started every Premier League game this season before missing the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal with a muscle injury, was seen taking part in Friday’s training session.
His return to training is a significant boost for Chelsea, given his impressive form this season.
Palmer has registered 14 goals and provided seven assists in 33 competitive appearances, making him the team’s top attacker.
Madueke’s Comeback from Hamstring Injury
Madueke, who had been sidelined for six competitive matches with a hamstring issue, also made his return to training on Friday.

The winger’s last appearance for Chelsea was on February 14, when he was forced off in the first half of a 3-0 defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Other Injury Concerns
While Palmer and Madueke’s return to training is a positive development, Chelsea still have other injury concerns.
Forward Nicolas Jackson could be available for the Tottenham match after being seen working on the grass earlier this week.
However, young forward Marc Guiu remains sidelined, having been out of action since February 3.
Omari Kellyman, another youngster, has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a fresh injury setback.
