Chelsea aims for an immediate managerial change to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
Despite Pochettino’s appointment for the 23/24 season, Chelsea’s performance has been disappointing,
marked by recent losses to Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers, with the significant investments in players like Moises Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson, and Cole Palmer.
Pochettino has recorded 14 wins, six draws and 11 defeats from his 31 games in all competitions, his win percentage of 45% better than the 39% achieved by Graham Potter over the same amount of games.

That said, Pochettino’s record has been achieved after considerably more spending and with Chelsea having transformed their squad in the summer.
After losing to Wolves, Pochettino admitted that being sacked was a possibility, acknowledging that Chelsea were not performing to the levels expected of them.
Nevertheless, reports suggest Chelsea have a swift replacement plan, eyeing Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso for an immediate appointment.
Reports state that Chelsea’s co-owner Behdad Eghbali is impressed by Xabi Alonso’s accomplishments at Bayer Leverkusen, leading the Bundesliga.
However, competition for Alonso’s signature might arise from Premier League rival Liverpool, as they search for a replacement following Jurgen Klopp’s planned departure at the end of the 23/24 season.
Chelsea, led by Pochettino, is set for an FA Cup replay against Aston Villa following a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.
A win in this fixture holds the potential to alleviate the mounting pressure on Pochettino.
