Arsenal foward Eddie Nketiah has handed first called up to England’s squad for the upcoming match against Ukraine and Scotland.
The 24-year-old Nketiah is Arsenal favorite after Gabriel Jesus injured and he net two goals in first three Premier League games, also has England’s record Under-21 scorer with 16 goals.
Former Liverpool Midfielder Jordan Henderson also named in Gareth Southgate‘s 26-man squad despite England’s vice-captain moving to the Saudi club Al-Ettifaq this summer.
Sterling’s Chelsea team-mate Levi Colwill has made the squad after breaking into Mauricio Pochettino‘s first team, and he’s joined by Lewis Dunk and Fikayo Tomori.
John Stones misses out through injury alongside Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw.
Former Manchester United captain Harry Maguire and Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips are also included despite neither player having played a minute of club football this season.
