Mohamed Salah scored a landmark Liverpool goal as the Reds survived two scares to defeat Nottingham Forest 3-2 in a spectacular Premier League game at Anfield.
The game burst into life in the 47th minute as the visitors failed to deal with a corner, Fabinho won the second header and Jota turned the ball into the net with the third.

Forest levelled soon after when they swiftly switched the play and ex-Liverpool man Neco Williams‘ deflected shot wrong-footed Alisson,
but Liverpool were ahead again within five minutes as Jota took advantage of poor set-piece defending to grab his second.
Forest again responded, this time via a long throw-in, with Gibbs-White getting on the end of a flick-on to volley in – like Williams helped by a deflection.
Liverpool still had another goal in them, or more accurately Forest had more comical marking to contribute, and that meant Mohamed Salah was able to meet a free kick from wide to score the winner.
Substitue Brennan Johnson hit the crossbar as Forest pushed for a late equaliser, but one was not forthcoming and they drop to 19th, now a point from safety. Liverpool climb to seventh.
