Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing 23-year-old forward El Bilal Toure from Stuttgart, with a potential summer transfer on the cards.
The Complex Transfer Situation
Toure is currently on loan at Stuttgart from Atalanta BC, with the German club holding an option to sign him permanently for €18m (£15m) in the summer.
However, Manchester United are considering a €25m (£20.9m) offer to bring him to Old Trafford.
Toure’s Impressive Career So Far
The Mali international has already made a name for himself in European football, scoring nine goals and registering five assists in 68 appearances for Reims.
He also impressed during his time at Almeria, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in 22 games.
Manchester United’s Summer Transfer Plans
The Red Devils are expected to strengthen their squad in the summer, with Toure potentially joining Viktor Gyokeres, Sporting Lisbon’s highly-rated centre-forward, at Old Trafford.
Gyokeres is believed to be available for a fee in the region of £55m.
A Potential Three-Way Operation?
The transfer situation is complex, with multiple clubs involved. Manchester United’s interest in Toure could lead to a “crazy three-way operation” involving Stuttgart, Atalanta BC, and the Red Devils.
