Manchester United’s search for a new striker has been given a significant boost after Jonathan David confirmed that he will be leaving Lille on a free transfer this summer.

The 25-year-old Canada international has been in outstanding form for Lille this season, scoring 20 goals and registering nine assists in 35 appearances across all competitions.

Manchester United, Arsenal, and West Ham United are all reportedly interested in signing David, who has refused to reveal which clubs are in the running for his signature.

With 104 goals and 27 assists in 218 appearances for Lille, David is expected to be in high demand this summer.
