‘Nobody Can Understand How Excited I Am Right Now’_Kylian Mbappe Reacts To Real Madrid Move

Mbappe

Real Madrid have officially announced the highly anticipated signing of Kylian Mbappe, fulfilling the French superstar’s lifelong dream of joining the legendary Los Blancos.

Mbappe move to Madrid, is one of the most significant in recent years, sees the France captain commit to a five-year contract at the iconic Santiago Bernabeu.

The news comes just days after Real Madrid‘s triumphant Champions League victory.

Mbappe, 25, joins the Spanish champions on a free transfer, having concluded his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

While no transfer fee was paid, Mbappe’s arrival comes with a substantial signing-on fee of £128 million, a testament to his exceptional talent and value to the team.

Mbappé has becoming the highest-paid player in the squad, surpassing Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr.

His contract is valued at £12.8 million per season, and he has also secured a significant percentage of his image rights.

Although the official transfer won’t be complete until the window opens on July 1, Mbappé is expected to be unveiled by the club this week, ahead of Euro 2024.

Real Madrid has been pursuing Mbappé since his emergence as a prodigious talent at Monaco, and his signing represents a major coup for the Spanish giants.”

Mbappe reacts:

‘This is a dream come true, I’m so happy and proud to join the club of my dreams.

‘Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. Hala Madrid!’

PSG secured his services in 2017, however, signing him for £165m – a transfer fee only eclipsed by the £222m the Parisians paid for Neymar that same summer.

Real attempted to sign Mbappe three years later only for PSG to turn down an £188m offer with the forward going onto sign a new three-year deal.

A move to Spain beckoned again a year later only for Mbappe to again make a dramatic U-turn and sign a contract extension with PSG, prompting Real to file a complaint over FFP rules being broken.

Over the next 12 months, Mbappe’s relationship with PSG soured and last year confirmed he would not be extending his contract in the French capital beyond 2024.

Kylian Mbappe looks forward to starting a new chapter in a new country, teaming up with partners like Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Jr.
