FOOTBALL TRANSFER GOSSIP:
- AC Milan are ready to make a move for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the summer and reports in Italy suggest they think he will be available for around £22m.
- Reading have been warned they have no chance of escaping a six-point deduction being levied this season which could drag them into the Championship relegation battle.
- Arsenal defender Pablo Mari‘s loan move to Monza included a £5.9m transfer fee for the 29-year-old Spaniard if the Italian club avoid relegation from Serie A and they are currently on course to do so.

- Oxford United are set to make an approach to Charlton Athletic for manager Dean Holden after they parted company with Karl Robinson.

- Manchester United are interested in bringing Roma striker Tammy Abraham back to the Premier League but fear their hopes could be dashed by former club Chelsea’s buy-back clause.
- Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky is reportedly keen to buy late West Ham co-owner David Gold‘s shares in the club to become the majority shareholder.
- West Ham are one point above the Premier League relegation zone but the Hammers do not intend to sack manager David Moyes as they back the Scot to improve results.
- Barcelona want to sign Borussia Monchengladbach and France forward Marcus Thuram, 25, on a free transfer this summer.
- Paris St-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe, 24, says he is “very happy” at the club and his future is not linked to the French champions’ progress in the Champions League.
- Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson‘s contract will run out in the summer and, while talks about extending the 23-year-old Englishman’s deal are set to continue, an agreement is not close.
- West Ham chiefs are refusing to bow to fan pressure to remove David Moyes from his role as manager of the relegation-threatened Premier League club.
