Napoli are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho, with the Italian club searching for a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Serie A outfit’s head coach Antonio Conte is said to have identified Garnacho as a top target, with the Argentina international impressing despite struggling to secure a starting spot under new Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim.
Garnacho’s Future at Manchester United Uncertain
Garnacho, 20, has been in fine form for Manchester United this season, scoring eight goals and registering four assists in 29 appearances.
However, he has found it difficult to break into Amorim’s starting XI, with the coach preferring number 10s who play inside, while Garnacho’s best work often comes in wide positions.

This has led to speculation surrounding his future at Old Trafford, with Napoli reportedly making contact with Manchester United over a potential move.
Napoli Willing to Meet Garnacho’s Valuation
Napoli are believed to be willing to meet Manchester United’s valuation of around €50m (£42m) for Garnacho.
The Italian club are in need of a replacement for Kvaratskhelia, who has asked to leave before the end of the January transfer window.
Paris Saint-Germain are the heavy favorites to secure Kvaratskhelia’s signature, which would free up funds for Napoli to make a move for Garnacho.
Manchester United Not Actively Looking to Sell Garnacho
Despite the speculation, it’s understood that Manchester United are not actively looking to sell Garnacho.
However, if a suitable offer arrives, the club would have to consider it due to their current financial situation.
Garnacho has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2028, having signed a new long-term deal in April 2023, which puts Manchester United in a strong position to negotiate.
