Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui will be part of the squad for tomorrow’s match against Fulham.
Mazraoui, typically a right-back, is being considered as a solution to United’s left-back crisis. With Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both sidelined due to injuries, Ten Hag is exploring options to bolster his defense.

Mazraoui’s versatility has caught the manager’s attention, and his inclusion in the squad suggests that Ten Hag is confident in his ability to adapt to the left-back position.
Despite rumors linking Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell, Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite, and Fenerbahce’s Ferdi Kadioglu to the club, Ten Hag‘s comments imply that a new signing in the position is unlikely.
Kadioglu, in particular, is reportedly closing in on a move to Brighton.
Ten Hag said
“We were looking and we can sort problems over the left side.”
“For instance Licha Martinez and Diogo Dalot are capable of playing there.
“Mazraoui is an additional one who can fill the position as long as Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia aren’t in the team.
They are different and I think it’s quite difficult to put him under pressure, especially in English football, that can be very beneficial.”
As Manchester United prepares to take on Fulham, fans will be eager to see how Mazraoui fares in his new role.
