Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, with Arsenal also in the running.
The 26-year-old Frenchman has struggled to make an impact at PSG, scoring just two goals and providing one assist in 14 games this season.
PSG’s Stance on Kolo Muani’s Future
With Kolo Muani’s contract running until 2027, PSG are open to a loan or permanent exit in January.
The French champions are reportedly seeking a permanent transfer, but may consider loan offers with an obligation to buy in the summer.
Tottenham’s Interest and Potential Fit
While Tottenham have discussed Kolo Muani’s potential signing, no bid has been tabled yet.
The Frenchman’s arrival could create competition for Richarlison and Dominic Solanke, with the England international likely to remain Ange Postecoglou’s first choice.
However, with Timo Werner and Son Heung-min potentially leaving the club in the summer, opportunities may arise for Kolo Muani on the wing.
Competition for Kolo Muani’s Signature
Tottenham face stiff competition for Kolo Muani’s signature, with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Juventus, RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, and AC Milan also linked to the striker. Chelsea, however, are not expected to make an official proposal.
Kolo Muani’s Valuation and PSG’s Expectations
PSG paid a whopping €95m (£79.2m) to sign Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023.
While the French champions may not recoup the full amount, they will likely expect a significant fee for the striker’s services.
