Barcelona vs. Young Boys: Lewandowski Shines as Raphinha and Pedri Sparkle in Easy Win

The Pole scored twice to give Hansi Flick’s men their first European win in Catalonia.

After a disappointing weekend that saw them lose 4-2 to Osasuna, Barcelona host the Young Boys in the Champions League on Sunday, desperate to prove themselves. The football was spectacular as Barca attacked the Swiss opposition with a 5-0 victory.

Barcelona took the lead inside eight minutes when Robert Lewandowski got in at the back post to head in a Rafinha cross. The Brazilian player finished second after stopping his father’s shot.
Pedri soon became the provider and sent a free kick into the box which Inigo Martinez headed home. And just five minutes after the restart, Barca extended their lead after Martinez met Rafinha’s corner with a diving header for Lewandowski to tap in.

Inaki Pena (6/10):

Jules Kounde (7/10):

As he moved forward, he worked hard. Never tested defensively but added a dimension to Barca’s attack.

Pau Cubarsi (7/10):

A monster in the sky almost released the ball. He was seventeen years old and looked like a 15 year old. It was released in the second half.

Inigo Martinez (7/10):

He scored Barcelona’s third goal, a free kick and Pedri’s header. Young Boys never got caught up in crime. They couldn’t catch the ball.

Alejandro Balde (7/10):

Very eager to download. His cross was headed by Camara for Barca’s fifth of the season.

Midfield

Pedri (8/10):

His shot was blocked by Rafinha to make it 2-0 and he got Martinez’s third. Excellent in midfield, marking pace, beating players and splitting defences. The Boys can’t get close to him.

Marc Casado (6/10):

He will be swept when necessary. It’s not shiny and flat, but it gives him a base to build on.

Attack

Lamine Yamal (7/10):

A good ball to Rafinha led to his assist for Lewandowski. He was a great shooter, until the Boys couldn’t stop him. He didn’t score, but everything was great.

Raphinha (8/10):

He scored Lewandowski’s goal with a great ball and scored the second goal after a brave defense by the Boys. Even at 5-0, he pushed with great intensity. He is quickly becoming one of Barcelona’s greatest players.

Robert Lewandowski (8/10):

Two impressive games from the striker, who became the only man since Cristiano Ronaldo to score 50 goals in Champions League history after turning 30. He was dismissed before completing his hat work.

Ferran Torres (7/10):

He continued to play Young Boys whenever he had the chance. He was rejected twice and was unlucky not to make it to the product line.

Subs & Manager

Ansu Fati (6/10):

because Barca was only kicking when he arrived, so he didn’t affect the game.

Hector Fort (6/10):

replaced Kobarsi. entered the field and took Barcelona.

Frenkie De Jong (6/10):

He made his debut this season after being injured while replacing Yamal. Barca helped to see.

Pau Victor (6/10):

About Lewandowski. He didn’t have a chance to shoot.
