See Huge Amount Betway Spent To Sponsor Big Brother Naija 2020

Betway as a Sponsorer of Big Brother Naija Season 5 allegedly paid over $1million to sealed the deal. 

 

The organizers of Bbnaija show has announced the Malta-based gambling company, Betway as the lead sponsor of the forthcoming season of the BBN reality tv show.

However, Betway takes over from the Nigerian betting company, Bet9ja who was the main sponsor of Big Brother Naija Season 4 (Pepper Dem).

KC Gaming popularly referred to as Bet9ja were the official sponsor of the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija Show having paid the sum of ₦1.08 billion ($5 million) for the sponsorship deal.

Meanwhile, for this year’s edition sponsorship deal, betway is alleged to have paid the sum of ($1million to $1.5million).

Despite the crash in the lead sponsorship price tag, the company was said to have declined the offer of first right of refusal for obvious and prevailing reasons.

With the adverse effects of the coronavirus pandemic, Bet9ja was said to have opted out of the partnership deal as a result of poor economic conditions and the adverse effects it has on the game of football betting and gambling at large.
