‘His Decisions Must Be Respected’ Bruno Fernandes Discussed On Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United Future

“His Decisions Must Be Respected' Bruno Fernandes Discussed On Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United Future

The Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes has admitted he is in the dark over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, with it reported that he is unhappy with the lack of ambition at the club.

Chelsea, PSG and Atletico Madrid have all been put forward as potential destinations,

though United have insisted he is not for sale and Erik ten Hag has spoken about the 37-year-old’s role at the club.

While it has been a strong start for United under Ten Hag, winning all three matches so far in their pre-season tour of Australia, Ronaldo did not travel with the rest of the squad.

Fernandes revealed he has spoken to Ronaldo, though it was not to try and sway his club and international team-mate either way.

Fernandes:

“I don’t know what’s going on in his head, if he wants to leave.” “I didn’t ask them that.

“The only thing I asked Cristiano, when he didn’t turn up [to training], was if everything was okay with the family, he told me what was going on, that’s it and nothing more.

“We have to respect the decision of everyone.

I don’t know what Cristiano said to the club, to the manager, I don’t know what is going on in his head, but we have to respect his space.

“From everything we know, he [Ronaldo] had some family problems, so we have to give him some space and that’s it.”
