Chelsea’s schedule for the 2024/25 UEFA Conference League has been announced.
The Blues have the chance to become the first club to win every UEFA club competition past and present with a win in this year’s club competition, having won the Champions League, Europa League, Super Cup and the current European Cup.
Enzo Maresca’s team is very keen to lift the trophy. He identified his six opponents during Friday’s draw in Monaco, UEFA announced the process. Chelsea will first play their home game at La Gantoise in Belgium just before the international break in October. Towards the end of the month, the Blues travel to Greece to face Panathinaikos. One of the most interesting meetings of the Blues will take place at home against the Armenian team Noa, which was founded in 2017 and for the first time in its history participates in the real race of European competition.
Chelsea will play their first game in Europe with a trip to Heidenheim in the Bundesliga scheduled for late November.
Chelsea will play their last two league games in mid-December. The first race will take place at Astana in Kazakhstan at 3am (UK time).
To conclude the first leg of the League Cup, Chelsea host Irish champions Shamrock Rovers at Stamford Bridge.
The 36 teams in the League will compete at one level and each will face six opponents. The top eight teams will advance to the knockout stage, while those in ninth to twenty-fourth place will advance to the playoffs.
