Manchester United received positive injury news regarding Andre Onana ahead of their upcoming Premier League match against Everton.

Erik ten Hag‘s team is aiming for a victory after the international break, eyeing their third win in the league.

However, with crucial fixtures against Everton, Galatasaray in the Champions League, and domestic games against Newcastle and Chelsea approaching,

the team is eager for improvements in their injury situation.

Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Tyrell Malacia, Amad Diallo, and Jadon Sancho are already sidelined,

making it crucial for the squad’s fitness to improve before the busy festive period.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka recently missed out again with illness, while Ten Hag‘s considerable fitness concerns were worsened again by Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen suffering injuries in the 1-0 win over Luton at Old Trafford.

Both players subsequently withdrew from the Denmark squad, with it since confirmed that Eriksen will be missing for around a month with a knee problem and Hojlund expected to return from a hamstring strain before the end of November.

As if that wasn’t quite bad enough for Ten Hag, Marcus Rashford was substituted after a painful accidental collision with Trent Alexander-Arnold during England’s 2-0 win over Malta at Wembley on Friday,

while Andre Onana was also forced off late on with a shoulder issue in Cameroon’s World Cup qualifier against Mauritius in Douala.

However, Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate said he thought Rashford – who joined up late for international duty due to personal reasons – was “probably okay” after the incident, while there appears to also be swift good news on Onana.

Romano adds that Onana is expected to be fit and ready for United’s important run of games coming up,

while it remains to be seen if he will be back in action for Cameroon in their latest qualifier against Libya on Tuesday.
