Liverpool made it four Premier League victories in a row, boosting their outside top-four hopes in the process, courtesy of a 4-3 success over Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s clash at Anfield.
The Merseysiders roared out of the traps with Curtis Jones volleying home Trent Alexander-Arnold’s sumptuous cross after just three minutes.
Two minutes later, it was two as Luis Diaz acrobatically volleyed in Cody Gapko’s cross before Mo Salah put the hosts three up from the penalty spot on 15 minutes.

Harry Kane managed to register for Ryan Mason‘s team in the latter stages of the first period, before Son Heung-min netted a second in the latter stages;
Richarlison’s first Premier League goal for Spurs then looked to have secured a dramatic point for the visitors in second-half stoppage time.
However, Diogo Jota came up with a spectacular winner in the 95th minute of the contest to hand Liverpool all three points in a dramatic finish at Anfield.
The result sees Liverpool jump into fifth place, two points ahead of Spurs, who drop to sixth.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are now seven points adrift of Manchester United in fourth spot, having played a game more.
