PSG Closing in on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Signature as Liverpool and Man United Miss Out

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, dealing a blow to Liverpool and Manchester United’s hopes of landing the Georgian international.

Kvaratskhelia has been linked with a move away from Napoli, with his current contract set to expire in June 2027.

PSG Lead the Race for Kvaratskhelia’s Signature

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, PSG have agreed a transfer with Napoli worth €70m (£59m) and have reached a verbal agreement in principle with Kvaratskhelia.

The proposed transfer requires final approval from the respective owners before Kvaratskhelia can be unveiled as the latest addition to Luis Enrique’s squad.

Kvaratskhelia’s Impressive Napoli Career Coming to an End

Kvaratskhelia has been a key player for Napoli, helping the team win the Serie A title in 2022-23.

He has made 107 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists in 34 league appearances last season.

However, he now looks set to leave Napoli in the middle of their Scudetto bid.

What’s Next for Kvaratskhelia?

Kvaratskhelia has agreed a five-year deal with PSG and will help fill the void left by Kylian Mbappe’s departure.

He will join a star-studded squad at the Parc des Princes and will be expected to make an immediate impact.
