Como defender Marco Curto has been banned for 10 matches by FIFA for abusing Wolves star Hwang Hee-chan.
The South Korean striker was injured by Curto during the pre-season between Serie A and the Premier League in July. The Korean Football Association later shared this with FIFA and expressed its concern over the incident. The Italian defender has been suspended by the top team for 10 matches.
According to the Independent, a FIFA spokesman said: “The player Marco Curto was found guilty of discrimination and banned for 10 matches. Half of those matches were suspended for two years. of probation, and the player is ordered to provide community service and training and education with an organization approved by FIFA.
