Manchester United vs Liverpool the outcome was in favor of home side.

Amad Diallo‘s late extra-time goal sealed an epic 4-3 victory for Manchester United over Liverpool, propelling them into the FA Cup semi-finals.

Manchester United swiftly took the lead after 10 minutes when Scott McTominay capitalized on a rebound from Alejandro Garnacho‘s shot, stabbing it home past Caoimhin Kelleher.

However, McTominay missed a crucial opportunity to extend United’s lead, firing straight at Kelleher from 12 yards out.

Just before halftime, a quick double from the Merseysiders turned the tide of the match.

Alexis Mac Allister struck first, sending a deflected shot past Andre Onana at his near post, followed by Mohamed Salah smashing in a goal after Onana could only deflect Darwin Nunez‘s shot into his path.

Despite Liverpool’s dominance in the second half, they couldn’t find a third goal.

However, the home side capitalized on their missed opportunities when substitute Antony skillfully turned inside the area and placed a precise finish into the far corner.

In the dying minutes, Marcus Rashford missed a chance to equalize, but Liverpool seemed to capitalize on the opportunity when substitute Harvey Elliott‘s speculative 25-yard shot deflected past Onana in the 105th minute.

United demonstrated resilience as they refused to give up, with Rashford leveling the score eight minutes from the end.

Then, in a thrilling finale, substitute Amad secured victory for the hosts in the dying seconds, albeit receiving a second yellow card for his exuberant celebrations.

This crucial win at Old Trafford kept alive Manchester United‘s sole hope of winning silverware this season while also dashing Liverpool’s aspirations of claiming four trophies in Jurgen Klopp‘s last season with the team.
