List Of Eight Serie A Stars Suffer Injuries During International Break

International break is over but some Serie A players are returned to their various club with injuries.

This situation has now seen eight Serie A players return to their clubs nursing injuries, some of which are more serious than others.

Marcelo Brozovic suffered an adductor injury whilst playing for Croatia against Austria and he’ll be out for at least a month, hoping to return in time for the game against Juventus on November 6.

Mike Maignan has been left with a calf issue after France’s match against Austria and he’ll also be sidelined for around a month.

Ciro Immobile was forced to miss both of Italy’s Nations League games due to a muscle edema and is now in doubt for Lazio’s next match against Spezia.

Fabio Miretti suffered a right ankle injury whilst with the Italian Under-21 squad and isn’t set to take part in the next game against Bologna.

Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini felt a knee issue in Italy U-21’s game against Japan and could miss the next match against Fiorentina.

La Dea also saw Teun Koopmeiners deal with a concussion in the Netherlands’ match against Poland, although he is expected to face the Viola.

The Bergamo side may also lose Merih Demiral for that Fiorentina clash after he felt a muscle issue ahead of Turkey’s match against Luxembourg.

Finally, Torino’s Pietro Pellegri suffered a muscle strain in Italy U-21’s game against England but he’s hoping to be available for the game against Napoli.

Theo Hernandez also returned to Milan with an injury, although he was hardly a part of the France squad for this international break, coming back almost immediately.
