Gerard Moreno’s injury offers Villarreal manager Unai Emery quite the selection headache as he takes his side to Liverpool for the first-leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening.
The influential forward is confirmed to be out until May after picking up a cruel muscle injury in a La Liga win over Getafe earlier this month.
As such, it remains unclear as to who will replace the Spanish international and lead the attack alongside the impressive Arnaut Danjuma, who has been linked with a move to Anfield.

Media reports in Spain have suggested former Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso could be
deployed in a more advanced role, potentially moving Manu Trigueros into midfield.
Paco Alcacer is another option through the middle, while former Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin recently returned to training in a boost for Emery.
Villarreal predicted XI (4-4-2):
Rulli;
Foyth, Albiol, Torres, Estupinan;
Parejo, Coquelin, Capoue;
Lo Celso;
Chukwueze, Danjuma
