The pressure on Mauricio Pochettino has intensified as Chelsea finds themselves languishing in 11th place in the Premier League standings.

Chelsea recent defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final has only exacerbated the situation.

Despite facing a Liverpool side depleted by injuries and relying on several young players, Chelsea failed to secure victory, amplifying discontent among fans.

Chelsea poor form have sparked criticism and frustration among supporters, who are beginning to question Pochettino’s ability to lead the team effectively.

As a result, speculation has arisen regarding potential replacements, with some suggesting a return for Jose Mourinho to Stamford Bridge for a third stint as manager.

Jose Mourinho‘s second term at Chelsea began in June 2013, marking his return to the club after a successful spell between 2004 and 2007.

Gullit told beIN Sports.

‘He can. I think he can. I like Mourinho. I think what he’s done is unbelievable.

‘He’s been in difficult situations. He was sometimes taking attention to the wrong things at time but I think he has it.’

The 2014-2015 season saw Mourinho guide Chelsea to their first Premier League title since 2010.

The team displayed defensive solidity, tactical discipline, and attacking prowess, finishing the season as champions with an impressive tally of 87 points.
