Arsenal vs Crystal Palace the outcome was in favor of home side.

Arsenal claimed the third spot in the Premier League standings after securing a 5-0 win against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The Gunners dominated the first half, with Gabriel scoring in the 11th minute and a Dean Henderson own goal extending their lead.

Leandro Trossard added a third in the 59th minute, while Gabriel Martinelli scored twice late in the game.

This victory propelled Mikel Arteta’s team past Aston Villa into third place, just two points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Despite entering the match on the back of three consecutive defeats, Arsenal displayed dominance against a lackluster Crystal Palace side in North London.

Gabriel Jesus had a half-chance in the seventh minute, but his effort rose over the crossbar.

The breakthrough came in the 11th minute, with Gabriel heading in a corner from Declan Rice.

Arsenal continued their offensive prowess, with a close call in the 14th minute when Jefferson Lerma‘s header nearly resulted in an own goal, but the woodwork saved Palace.

The Gunners maintained control, with another opportunity in the 21st minute as Bukayo Saka‘s low cross was cleared well by Palace’s Chris Richards.

Palace’s first notable attempt came in the 33rd minute when Lerma struck towards goal after a poor kick from Arsenal’s goalkeeper, David Raya, but the Spaniard made a crucial save to preserve the 1-0 lead.

In the early stages of the second half, Rice tested Henderson with a strike, while Raya denied a long-range effort from Eberechi Eze.

Arsenal continued their offensive endeavors, with a chance in the 50th minute when Saka set up Trossard inside the box, but the attacker couldn’t make proper contact.

The Gunners secured their third goal in the 59th minute as Trossard, assisted by Gabriel Jesus, finished a fast counter-attack.

In the 75th minute, Saka aimed one over the Palace crossbar, signaling Arsenal’s intent for more goals.

Palace had a half-chance late on through Richards, but his header went over.

Arsenal added a fourth in the closing moments, with Martinelli placing the ball into the bottom corner after Nketiah’s assist.

The Brazilian scored again just before full-time, sealing a miserable afternoon for the visitors.
