Arsenal: Bukayo Saka Withdraws From England Squad Due To Injury Concerns

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka has pulled out of the England squad for the friendlies against Brazil & Belgium due to injury.

The fitness concern appears to be considered serious enough to end Saka’s involvement entirely and will now play no part in England’s friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.

Arsenal are scheduled to play a pivotal title clash next weekend as they face Manchester City.

All Gunners fans are praying their players come out of the international break unharmed, however they’ve been dealt a huge worry following the recent news on Bukayo Saka.

A statement from the national team read:

Bukayo Saka has left the [England] camp and returned to his club for continued rehabilitation on an injury he reported to St. George’s Park with.”

Saka also withdrew from the England squad last September, skipping a friendly with Australia and a Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy.

England host Brazil at Wembley on Saturday before facing Belgium at the same venue next Tuesday in their final scheduled friendlies before Euro 2024.
