Son:

‘I am very sorry to him as a player, i should have shown better sides of me to him and helped the team out more, but I wasn’t able to.

‘Because of that, he ultimately had to shoulder responsibility by leaving, and I feel very responsible for it.

‘Because he has the ability and experience, he will obtain good results wherever he goes in the next chapter of his journey, and I will of course support him.

‘For the remaining few matches, I’d like to finish the season well with my teammates.’

The former Chelsea and Inter manager slammed his players, accusing them of being ‘selfish’ and lacking fight,

will he also appeared to take aim at the culture of the club having failed to win a trophy in the last 15 years.

Levy continue:

“We have ten Premier League games remaining and we have a fight on our hands for a Champions League place. We all need to pull together.

“Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our club and amazing, loyal supporters.”

Antonio Conte Ignored Question Over Tottenham Contract Extension

Antonio Conte has ignored asnwer questions over his future at Tottenham as his deal expires at the end of the season and talks have reportedly stalled on an extension.

The Italian coach took over Tottenham in November 2021 and helped the club achieve a top-four finish last season.

They’re on track to maintain Champions League football for another year while there will also be an opportunity for silverware.

The Italian is more likely to wait and see how the January transfer window pans out in order to gauge the club’s ambitions.

For their part, Spurs are ready to try and secure the 53-year-old’s future by offering him a substantial pay rise, though they might not be enough.

Conte has kept his powder dry in terms of longer-term contracts at other clubs, in order to maintain pressure on club chiefs when it comes to recruitment strategy.

While the Spurs boss has confirmed the club are open to making signings in January, Conte refused to answer when asked if doubts over his future could impact their business.

Conte when asked about contract extension:

“No, but I think I would like also in the future to not speak about this matter in the press conference because I think it is much more,

important the game we are going to play, in this case Brentford.”

Spurs produced a strong second half of last season to claim fourth and return to the Champions League.

Antonio Conte Backed Harry Kane To Come Back Stronger.

Kane has missed penaltie, but if anyone was reliable on the big stage, it was him.

Meanwhile his coach Antonio Conte has backed him to put his penalty miss behind him as Tottenham return to Premier League action.

The England captain, who equalled Wayne Rooney’s all-time record of 53 goals for the Three Lions at the World Cup, could not convert

his second spot-kick of the game as Gareth Southgate’s fell to beaten finalists France at the quarter-final stage.

Usually so reliable from the spot, it was one of only 11 penalties the 29-year-old has failed to score in 69 attempts.

Kane is eyeing a quick-fire return to club duty and is in line to feature against London rivals

Brentford at Boxing Day as the Spurs star looks to lead their Champions League push in the second half of the season.

“Hugo [Lloris] lost the final and, instead, Cuti [Cristian Romero] won the final,” said the Spurs boss.

“For Harry, he missed a penalty, but I think he played a really good World Cup.

“For sure, they have to try and put to one side this experience.”

Conte’s side sit fourth in the Premier League table, three points ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United but having played one more game.

In our side, when the level needs to be high, we need to improve a lot and be better than today.’

We need to try to increase our level if we want to be competitive.

‘The approach of the game, we were a bit scared and we showed this.

I do not like this. In our mind and the mind of our players we need the ambition to play this game in a different way, with more personality, to not miss stupid passes.’

Tottenham are still third in the Premier League table and only four points behind leaders Arsenal,

butConte also scoffed at the idea that his side could be challenging for the title by the end of the campaign.

Tuchel’s one-match suspension is currently suspended pending written reasons from an independent regulatory commission, meaning he will be in the dugout for Chelsea’s trip to Leeds on Sunday.

While both managers played down their clash after the game, Tuchel took issue with the performance of referee Anthony Taylor for missing incidents in the buildup to Tottenham’s goals.

The German said, “Maybe it would be better” if Taylor didn’t referee Chelsea games in the future and added that a number of his players had concerns over the officiating.

The FA then launched an investigation into the comments.

FA Charged Thomas Tuchel And Antonio Conte After Derby Burst Up

Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte have both been charged by the FA following their confrontations in a ill-tempered derby draw between Chelsea and Tottenham.

The two managers shook hands after it finished 2-2 at Stamford Bridge, where tempers flared and they then faced off on the pitch before being separated by players and staff from both teams.

Both managers were also shown red cards by referee Anthony Taylor as a result of the fracas.

Tuchel accused Taylor and the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) of making wrong decisions which ultimately helped Spurs come away from Stamford Bridge with a point.

At his post-match news conference, Tuchel rued the “huge misinterpretation of situations” and said it “would be better” if Taylor was no longer involved in officiating Chelsea’s matches.

An online petition calling for Taylor to not be handed Chelsea games in the future was launched by fans shortly after the match and it has already received more than 122,000 signatures.

While Tuchel and Conte were involved in a heated exchange, the two managers were relatively calm after the game and said they had no hard feelings.

Conte even took a cheeky dig at Tuchel on Instagram, saying he was glad he did not see the German celebrating the second goal by running down the touchline as “making you trip over would have been well deserved”.

Antonio Conte: It's Not My Job To Make Tottenham's Players Happy

Antonio Conte has warned his Tottenham squad that it is their job to keep him happy and not the other way around.

The Italian has ramped up the competition for minutes this summer with a significant recruitment drive that has seen Ivan Perisic,

Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Djed Spence and Fraser Forster join on permanent deals and Clement Lenglet arrive from Barcelona on loan.

Talks are also being held with Udinese over left-back Destiny Udogie, while there is also interest in Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo and Wolves’ Adama Traore.

When asked whether so many new faces could upset some of the members of his original Spurs squad, Conte made it abundantly clear that his job is to win games, not friends.

“But they have to make me happy, no? You understand? With performances to make me think who is the better player,” he said.

“They have to make me happy. Not me [make them happy]. Okay.”

Conte added:

“To catch [Manchester] City and Liverpool, you have to spend £100m for six players, they go and spend that for one player or two players and this is the difference.”

While Conte’s ultimate goal is to finally deliver some long-awaited silverware to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,

he stressed that the club’s vision is more long term and next season does not need to yield a trophy to be a success.

“My target and the club’s target is to develop the process and it doesn’t mean that if you lift a trophy or win the Premier League or the Champions League, or you get a place in the Champions League, you achieved your target.”

“It means we have to try to develop in every aspect.”

Bissouma Hails Antonio Conte Influence After £25m Transfer Sealed

Former Brighton star Yves Bissouma has hailed Antonio Conte’s influence after signing for Tottenham.

The Mali midfielder penned a four-year contract in north London on Friday to become Spurs’ third arrival of a busy early summer transfer drive.

The signing of Bissouma is seen as quite a coup for Tottenham, with Arsenal and Manchester United among the other clubs linked with the 25-year-old,

who was available for a cut-price fee of £25million as he entered the final 12 months of his contract at Brighton.

The chance to test himself in the Champions League was a huge attraction for Bissouma,

with Spurs having pipped their north London rivals to fourth place in the Premier League and a return to Europe’s elite club competition on the final day of last season.

But the presence of Conte, who has agreed to stay at the club for next season after positive

talks in Italy with managing director of football Fabio Paratici, was also a massive factor

behind his decision to opt for a switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he looks to take his game to the next level under the former Chelsea boss.

“We have a good group, and a great coach, everyone knows him,” Bissouma said in his first interview with Tottenham’s official website.

“I know I can pass this step with him.

“I know he will help me more to be what I want to be and try to help the team as well. I’m very happy to play with him.”

Bissouma joins versatile Croatian winger Ivan Perisic and England goalkeeper Fraser Forster

atTottenham, with that duo having already arrived on free transfers this month after leaving Inter Milan and Southampton respectively.

Conte is still looking to sign a right wing-back, with Middlesbrough’s Djed Spence his top target,

as well as a new centre-back and striker before the transfer window closes for business once more on September 1.

Antonio Conte: I Want To Watch Newcastle Vs Arsenal So I Can Suffer

Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte has revealed he will keep a keen eye on Arsenal’s trip to Newcastle on Monday.

Spurs moved two points clear of the Gunners after beating Burnley 1-0 on Sunday,

a result which followed their 3-0 thrashing of Mikel Arteta’s men on Thursday.

The pressure is on Arsenal to win and move back ahead of their north London rivals, and Conte admitted he will be tuning in.

“I want to watch the game. I want to suffer,” the Italian joked.

Conte revealed that a stomach virus had disrupted Spurs’ preparations in leading up to Burnley’s visit, and praised captain Hugo Lloris in particular for soldiering on through it.

“It wasn’t easy because yesterday morning the doctor sent me a message that a few players they felt not well, with a stomach problem, vomiting and also a fever,” he said.

Deki [Kulusevski] didn’t have a training session, Gollini and Hugo. Also Winksy.

Despite this, we faced the game in the right way and I’m so happy because I have seen a team that has improved in many aspects.

Now this team is one ready to fight in every game.

“Hugo had a fever, but there was no chance of missing an important game.

They showed to be very professional and understanding the importance of the moment. Hugo is our captain and he never wanted to miss the game.”
